Briggs & Stratton Names Teske as New President
The board of directors of Briggs & Stratton Corporation on Aug. 13 elected Todd J. Teske as the company’s new president, effective Sept. 1, 2008.
The 43-year-old Teske has been an executive vice president and chief operating officer of Briggs & Stratton Corporation since September 2005. He has also served as president of the Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group LLC, which is the company’s outdoor power products division, since September 2003.
John Shiely, who was the previous president of Briggs & Stratton Corporation, will retain the offices of chief executive officer and chairman of the Milwaukee-based company.
