Briggs Vanguard Big Block V-twin engine line continues to grow

Five years ago, Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power responded to the industry’s call for more power and performance from air-cooled commercial engines with the introduction of the Vanguard Big Block V-twin engines. Today, the line has grown to more than 50,000 engines in the field with the availability of horizontal-shaft models from 25 to 35 gross hp. and vertical-shaft models from 30 to 36 gross hp. Features of these engines include an advanced debris management system, excellent balance, low vibration, commercial-grade durability, tuned intake and exhaust systems, large-volume muffler with specially baffled chambers, and low fuel consumption per hp.
