PES ranks among best companies to work for in Oregon

For the second straight year, Power Equipment Systems (PES), a Salem, Ore.-based wholesale distributor of lawn and garden equipment, engines, and service parts, was named one of the “100 best companies to work for in Oregon,” according to a survey conducted by Oregon Business magazine. PES ranked fifth among the best small companies in Oregon and eighth among all businesses in the state. The rankings were based on confidential surveys of more than 30,000 employees, working for 372 companies.

 At PES, hard work is rewarded with various perks: massages, duck hunting, laser tag, bocce ball tournaments, BBQs and many more. Aside from all the fun activities, PES also supports the community as a team. Community projects have included cleaning up and mowing the grounds of the Humane Society, cooking breakfast for the homeless, and raising money for local nonprofit organizations. As one employee said, “We are a family.
