GIE+EXPO offers new High-Performance Service Department
In its never-ending quest to provide maximum value for outdoor power equipment dealers, the Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) recently announced that it is launching a new feature that is sure to be a big draw at this year’s show Thursday, Oct. 29, through Saturday, Oct. 31, in Louisville.

This how-to pavilion — which will be a collective effort of Bob Clements International and several exhibitors, including OPE — will simulate a highly efficient service department and include the following:
Two large service bays plus service areas for riding equipment and walk-behind and handheld equipment
A staging area and wash bay
An example of an outdated service department bay showing “what not to do”
In addition, another area of the pavilion will allow the sponsors — Ariens, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, Hustler Turf Equipment, Stens and Stihl — to showcase their best service practices. Service lifts will be supplied by Heftee Industries and computers by Ideal Computer Systems.
Bob Clements International will provide training and tours of the pavilion. This highly regarded consulting company helps dealers throughout North America improve their processes and profitability through technician and service department efficiencies.
