ARI becomes a sponsor of High-Performance Service Department at GIE+EXPO

ARI Network Services, Inc. (ARI) will partner with the Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) as a sponsor of the High-Performance Service Department. ARI will offer short presentations, titled “Web Strategies to Increase Service Department Profits,” in the new feature area on Thursday, Oct. 29, and Friday, Oct. 30, at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

GIE+EXPO will be held October 29-31 in Louisville at the Kentucky Exposition Center. The High-Performance Service Department, which will be located on the trade show floor, is expected to be a drawing point for dealers looking for ways to improve the efficiency and profitability of their service departments.

During ARI’s sessions, Bob McCann, ARI’s director of client education, and Tim Mauck, ARI’s director of product marketing, will discuss how dealers can use the Internet to promote their service departments, follow up with leads, make appointments, and sell parts more efficiently.

After each session, dealers can visit ARI’s booth (#100) in the Service Department for more information on how to promote their service departments, learn about ARI’s products and services, and receive special show offers.

“ARI’s PartSmart has become the standard in the outdoor power equipment industry for parts lookup and inventory management,” said Mauck. “Over the past several years, we have developed several other products and services designed to help dealers grow. The success of every dealer is important to ARI and the longevity of the industry, and we’re pleased to have an opportunity to share ways dealers can capture more leads, increase customers, and grow profits,”

Other sponsors — Ariens, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, Hustler Turf Equipment, Stens and Stihl — will showcase their best service practices in simulated service bays. Lifts will be provided by Heftee Industries, and business management software, including ARI’s solutions, will be provided by Ideal Computer Systems. A full schedule of the High-Performance Service Department trainings, including sessions by Bob Clements International, can be found at http://www.gie-expo.com/hpsd.html.

“ARI’s involvement adds another outstanding benefit for dealers at GIE+EXPO,” said Warren Sellers, show director. “Dealers should expect to go home armed with knowledge that can help move their service departments to a new level of profitability.”

Pre-registration for a three-day pass to GIE+EXPO is $10 per person through October 27. The trade show admission for those who register on-site will be $50.
