Honda Power Equipment announces all-new five-year warranty on HRX lawn mowers
On Jan. 5, Honda Power Equipment announced a five-year warranty for its award-winning HRX lawn mowers. The warranty will apply to all HRX lawn mowers purchased for private, residential use and sold in the United States on or after Jan. 1, 2010.
This new warranty replaces the three-year coverage currently offered by Honda on most of its full line of power equipment products, including the HRX series of lawn mowers.

First introduced in 2004, the Honda HRX Series pioneered the unique Versamow System that, for the first time on any mower, allows for 4-in-1 operation (mulching, bagging, discharging and leaf shredding) without tools or attachments. The system also easily enables the simultaneous distribution of clippings to both the bag and the ground.
In 2008, Honda introduced a new premium HRX217VKA lawn mower model. Equipped with SMART Drive variable speed control, the newest HRX model allows the user to easily control the mower’s speed simply by resting his or her hands on the handlebars – adding still more convenience and ease of use to the product.
The Honda HRX217VKA also contains an exclusive, rust-free Nexite mowing deck that is covered by a lifetime warranty. Adding to the mower’s versatility is Honda’s unique Twin Blade Micro Cut System, which allows clippings to circulate naturally for maximum mulching and bagging efficiency.
