Power Equipment Systems continues to rank among Oregon’s finest companies

Power Equipment Systems (PES) was recently recognized as one of the “100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon,” for the third straight year, ranking in the top 10 among small companies for the second year in a row. A Salem, Ore.-based wholesaler, distributor and informational resource for outdoor power equipment dealers, PES placed third in the Career Development & Learning category and eighth overall among companies with less than 50 employees. The 17th annual statewide survey conducted by Oregon Business magazine was based on input from nearly 20,000 employees from more than 300 companies operating in Oregon.

“It is an honor to be recognized in the Oregon Business ‘100 Best Companies’ list,” said Pete Yunker, co-president of PES. “To place in the top 10 in our category for the second straight year is a testament to the people we have working here and to the way we all approach our business.”

Companies recognized in the “100 Best” list are measured on 50 workplace qualities, by a confidential survey of employees, under the following categories: benefits and compensation, work environment, decision-making and trust, performance management, and career development and learning.
