Powerhouse teams with STA-BIL

Generator owners store their power-producing machines for use at critical times, but storing today’s fuels presents challenges to machine operation. That’s why Powerhouse Generators and STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer recently announced a partnership to deliver a better, more reliable customer experience with each purchase of a Powerhouse inverter generator.

Not only does a STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer sample come with each Powerhouse Generator, Powerhouse uses STA-BIL in the manufacturing process. Each Powerhouse Generator is tested at the factory, and the fuel used for each test is treated with STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer. Additionally, Powerhouse recommends the continued use of STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer for maximum reliability and longevity of its generators.

Stored fuel can go bad in as little as 30-60 days, causing gum, varnish and corrosion to build up in the fuel lines and engine. This is even more prevalent with today’s ethanol-blended fuels. STA-BIL may be used in all vehicles and equipment each time they are filled up to protect against gum and varnish formation. STA-BIL also contains corrosion inhibitors that can protect against corrosion.

“We include a sample of STA-BIL with each Powerhouse Generator we ship,” said Dennis Castagnola, executive VP manufacturing & product development. “The power-producing function of their Powerhouse Generators is very important to our customers who rely on them during power outages or while at remote locations, whether on the job site, camping or hunting. We get our customers started with STA-BIL and recommended that they stay with it for the life of their Powerhouse generator. Our customers count on Powerhouse Generators, which is why we count on STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer and Performance Improver.”
