The new PowerBoss portable generator series offers four models that provide homeowners and DIYers with affordable, reliable, backup power, powered by engines from Briggs & Stratton.

“First-time homeowners and DIYers, who require backup power that they can rely upon at an affordable price, will love the new PowerBoss portable generators,” said Eric Loferski, director of marketing, Briggs & Stratton Portable Power & Cleaning Systems divisions. “With a highly functional design and dependable Briggs & Stratton Powerbuilt engine, the four PowerBoss models deliver consistent power for emergency or DIY use to meet homeowners’ basic backup power needs.”

The four new portable generator models all feature Briggs & Stratton Powerbuilt OHV engines for easy starting, long life, and exceptional fuel efficiency. These generators are available with running wattages of 1,150-, 2,500-, 3,500- and 5,250-watts*. With run times (at 50 percent of the total generator’s load capacity) of up to 10 hours, they are designed to provide low maintenance during an extended power outage.

The 1,150-watt* PowerBoss model has two 120-volt household outlets, while the other three PowerBoss models have four 120V outlets, allowing users to plug more items directly into the generator without the use of power strips. The 3,500-watt* PowerBoss generator also has an RV plug and easily powers RV air conditioners, along with offering an optional wheel kit with 8-inch Never-Go-Flat wheels and a fold-away handle for easy portability and convenient storage. Along with the four 120V outlets, the 5,250-watt* PowerBoss model also includes a 120/240V locking outlet and comes standard with a wheel kit. All PowerBoss generators feature a two-year limited product warranty†.
