Back by popular demand, the keynote lunch will return to Dealer Day at GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky. On Oct. 21 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., an opening lunch featuring New York Times bestselling author Steve McClatchy will kick off the 2015 show. Following the keynote, dealers, retailers, distributors and the media will be treated to an exclusive preview of the show.
McClatchy, the author of Decide: Work Smarter, Reduce Your Stress & Lead by Example and president of Alleer Training & Consulting, has spoken before thousands of audiences on the topics of leadership, performance, personal growth, and work/life engagement. His client list includes the National Football League (NFL), Google, Pfizer, Microsoft, Disney, Comcast, Accenture, HP, Discovery Channel, DHL Europe, Tiffany’s, Wells Fargo and Campbell’s Soup. McClatchy is best known for his passion, sense of humor and energetic personality.
In his thought-provoking and inspirational presentation, “Lead Your Team, Don’t Just Manage the Process: Align Systems & Drive Measurable Results,” McClatchy will discuss the differences between management and leadership. Dealers will learn to identify when their team needs management and when their team needs leadership.
After this session, participants will be equipped to:
* Create a compelling team purpose, list of values and team goals
* Correct misalignments and remove obstacles in the way of the team’s success
* Keep the team motivated and focused on producing measurable results
GIE+EXPO will be held Wednesday, Oct. 21, through Friday, Oct. 23, at Louisville’s Kentucky Exposition Center.
