Altoz set to co-host open houses with key Florida dealers

The sales staff of Altoz, a Greenbush, Minn.-based manufacturer of high-performance zero-turn mowers, will be hitting the road in the weeks ahead, in support of key dealers throughout the state of Florida. What sounds like a spring break road trip, will actually be a multi-city tour of open houses that Altoz will co-host throughout the state.

With four open houses in a two-week span, Altoz’s tour of Florida will kick at Allen Farm & Lawn Equipment in Ocala February 22-23. It will then continue with open houses at Cutting Edge Lawn Equipment in Lakeland February 25; Rinaldi’s Small Engine Repair in Arcadia Feb. 29-March 1; and TEC – Turf Equipment Center in Port Charlotte March 3-4.

During each event, customers will be invited to experience Altoz zero-turn mowers first-hand by demoing the new 2016 models. Altoz will also offer special pricing/financing; free mulch kits on select models; giveaways; and discounts for military, veterans and first responders.

“Florida is an important market for Altoz, and we’re excited to work with some of our key dealers to kick off the season,” said Karl Bjorkman, Altoz sales and marketing director. We’re looking forward to people testing our new zero-turn mowers and experiencing the quality we’re known for.”

Steve Goodman, Altoz district sales manager, is also excited about the Florida dealer tour. “It has been a very mild winter here in Florida, the grass is still growing, and landscapers are looking for new equipment before the busy summer months,” he said. “The open house events are going to be a lot of fun for everyone — we’ll be introducing new models and new engine choices, plus some great deals.”

The XC Series, Altoz’s biggest, fastest and most powerful mower built for demanding jobs, will be one of several models available to demo. The XC is capable of mowing at speeds up to 19 mph with EFI engine options from both Briggs & Stratton and Kohler. Altoz’s new XR series will cater to multi-acre homeowners and round out the Altoz line, which now includes 33 models. XE and XR are both available with Honda GXV and Kohler engines; additional XE engine options include Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power and Kawasaki.
