Dixie Chopper honors hundreds of veterans at National Farm Machinery Show

Veteran ReceptionDixie Chopper honored more than 400 veterans in its booth during the National Farm Machinery Show Feb. 10-13 in Louisville, Ky. During the trade show, Dixie Chopper handed out more than 300 custom veteran hats and held a special reception for those who proudly served in the U.S. military.

Dixie Chopper held an hour-long Veteran Reception in its booth three days during the show. More than 100 veterans visited the Dixie Chopper booth to be honored at the reception and were served free coffee and cookies.

“It was our honor to serve so many veterans at the National Farm Machinery Show, and we were overwhelmed with the attendance we received in our booth,” said Chris Vernon, Dixie Chopper’s vice president and general manager. “The response was so strong that we plan to make a new tradition at the National Farm Machinery Show.”

Since 2014, Dixie Chopper has been honoring veterans with its Hometown Heroes Rebate. All active and retired members of the U.S. military, police, fire, EMT, and paramedic services can receive a $250 rebate on any new Dixie Chopper they purchase.

For more than 35 years, Dixie Chopper has been handcrafting zero-turn lawn mowers in Coatesville, Ind. All Dixie Choppers are proudly made in the USA and always will be.
