Power Distributors acquires assets of Midwest Engine Warehouse

Power Distributors, a Columbus, Ohio-headquartered provider of sales, marketing and distribution solutions for the outdoor power industry, announced March 1 that it has acquired the assets of Midwest Engine Warehouse (MWE), which is headquartered in Aurora, Ill. The two companies have shared a long and successful history of service distribution to the outdoor power equipment industry. The combined company brings together the talents and resources of each organization to serve and supply an expanded sales and distribution footprint now extending across all 50 U.S. states.

With this acquisition, Power Distributors now supplies more than 25,000 independent lawn & garden dealers; rental accounts; and industrial, hardware and retail accounts nationwide from 11 distribution centers, multiple customer contact centers and administrative facilities strategically located throughout the United States.

Established in 2014, Power Distributors was formed from the combination of leading regional outdoor power distribution companies Atlantic Power, Central Power Systems, Magneto Power, Midwest Engine Warehouse, Preferred Power and SEDCO.
