Bush Hog introduces Heavy Duty Hog zero-turn mowers

IMG_0528-2Bush Hog recently unveiled 3 new lines of Heavy Duty Hog zero-turn mowers: the HDE Series, the HDC Series, and the HDZ Series. The HDE Series is designed for estate owners or homeowners with acreage, the HDC Series for commercial use, and the HDZ Series for professional use. Collectively, the 3 series feature 18 different models with engine offerings from Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, and Kohler.

With electronic control modules, these mowers can easily be started with the press of a button. A USB power port comes standard on the HDC Series and HDZ Series. The redesigned decks with a smooth surface make them easy to clean. The HDE Series comes in 7 models with engine availability up to 25 hp., the HDC Series in 5 models with engine availability up to 27 hp., and the HDZ Series in 6 models with engine availability up to 32 hp.

“Our Zero Turn Project Team has been dedicated to providing the right product at the right price without sacrificing Bush Hog’s durability and performance,” stated Keith Johnson, Bush Hog’s product manager. “The 2017 lineup will feature a whole new look, as well as several new added amenities to help improve upon the performance our customers have come to expect.

“Heavy Duty Hog operators will notice an improvement in ride quality, due to our new design having a lower center of gravity and improved weight distribution. The elimination of saddle-mounted fuel tanks improves the operator’s visibility of the perimeter. In addition to our end users, our dealers will enjoy some added benefits too. We have made some changes to the new models that will decrease the dealer setup times and eliminate the hassle of tearing apart and disposing of wooden crates.”
