Masport expands mower lineup at GIE+EXPO 2017

Supporting its nationwide distributor, Power Distributors, Masport once again exhibited at GIE+EXPO 2017. It’s been another busy year for the engineering team at Masport with additions to the company’s North American lineup in both gasoline- and battery-powered lawn mowers.

At GIE+EXPO, Masport featured its new “Contractor” commercial walk-behind mower lineup and introduced two new battery-powered models featuring the Briggs & Stratton Nexcel 82-volt powerhead, along with Masport’s own “M Tech” 58-volt system.

Masport is a 107-year-old New Zealand-based company, which is a household name in New Zealand and sold in 45 countries around the world. Masport started offering its products in the United States in 2012.

Power Distributors, which is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, and Power Source Canada in Canada distribute Masport’s range of consumer & commercial outdoor power equipment to servicing dealers across North America. Masport is a dealer-only brand in North America and is ideally suited to this form of distribution as its manufactures feature-rich and high-quality products. They are almost exclusively powered by Briggs & Stratton engines, with Honda-powered options also available in the commercial mower range.
