RedMax unveils new technology for lawn and tree care professionals at GIE+EXPO 2017
RedMax, a global outdoor power equipment brand of Husqvarna, presented its 2018 portfolio of professional products at GIE+EXPO 2017. RedMax is expanding its lineup to offer professionals the full solution of equipment for commercial lawn and tree care needs.
Highlights from this year’s show included an entirely new line of durable commercial zero-turn mowers, powerful chain saws for tree care professionals, as well as new zero-emission battery-powered handheld products and accessories.
“Developing innovative and reliable products for commercial use is paramount for us,” said Jeff Dewosky, vice president and general manager of Husqvarna North America. “We are excited to share our latest innovations for RedMax that show how our products can help professionals be more productive and efficient with intelligently designed products that focus on what matters.”
With the CZT series, RedMax is introducing a brand-new zero-turn mower line for lawn care professionals that offers a durable design, powerful and productive operation, and high-quality fabricated-steel decks. The rugged commercial construction features a welded steel tube frame, heavy-duty casters, flat-free tires and a sturdy deck lift system. Built for commercial use, the cutting decks offer strength, as well as reinforced and oversized components, giving operators more time in the field and less time in the shop. The modular design of the chassis provides convenient access to all regular service parts, as well as major components.
The CZT (MSRP: starting at $6,399.95) is available as a 52- or 61-inch model, includes ROPS, and a four-year warranty. For the bigger jobs, the CZTx (MSRP: starting at $9,399.95) is an excellent option and comes with cutting deck widths of 48, 54 or 60 inches, 16-cc pump and motor, ROPS and a 5-year warranty. RedMax is also offering a new commercial walk-behind mower for 2018. The CWP21 (MSRP: $499.95) is a tough, maneuverable machine with a 21-inch reinforced steel deck and is built to meet the demanding commercial needs with a powerful engine.
