2018 UEDA Convention recap

The 2018 United Equipment Dealers Association (UEDA) Convention was greeted with much enthusiasm. Excellent speakers with hard-hitting topics, exhibitors connecting with dealers, and a multitude of comments about the great numbers in attendance. If you did not attend, you missed a ton of best practices to improve the bottom line of your dealership, great discussions on the future of our industry, analyses of recommended topics in dealer agreements, and insights for addressing the “Right to Repair” movement that is spreading across the country.

UEDA President Dan Booth recognized Tim Ward for his 12 years of faithful service on the board of directors, including two as president. Ward will continue to serve UEDA as a member of the Advisory Committee.

During the Annual Business Meeting, Steve Hunt, H & R Agri-Power, Hopkinsville, Ky. was elected to serve a four-year term as director. H & R is a 13-store operation with five stores in Kentucky retailing CaseIH, Kubota, and New Holland.
