Bobcat Company expands dealer network
Bobcat Company has expanded its dealer network with the addition of two new Lyle Machinery locations in Lake Charles, Louisiana and Beaumont, Texas. Both locations will serve as authorized new and used sales, service, rental and parts providers of Bobcat equipment.
With the addition of these two dealerships, Lyle Machinery now has 7 authorized Bobcat locations operating throughout Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. The new dealerships will serve a variety of residential, commercial, industrial, farming, ranching and landscaping clients throughout central and southwest Louisiana and southeast Texas.
“Our customers will enjoy the versatility offered by Bobcat and their wide selection of attachments,” said Jason Hoffpauir, general manager of Bobcat of Lake Charles and Beaumont. “We are excited to provide our customers with the highest-quality equipment, in addition to the excellent service they already receive at our locations.”
Bobcat also announced the addition of Bobcat of Athens (Georgia) as an authorized new and used sales, service, rental and parts provider of Bobcat equipment.
Bobcat of Athens is the second location David Shoemaker, owner and president, has opened. His first location is Southern Sales and Rental in Albany, Georgia, which also carries Bobcat equipment.
The dealership has served the irrigation supply distribution industry for more than 20 years. With the business thriving, they saw an opportunity to help meet customer needs on the equipment side as well as with supply.

There’s a great need in our area for a supporting dealer that truly cares about their customers and are happy to help,” said Shoemaker. “We will strive to minimize customer downtime and maximize their uptime through excellence in customer service.”
Bobcat of Athens will offer rental equipment, parts, certified service technicians and a select line of full-sized machines ready for delivery. Its highly skilled and qualified staff is dedicated to ensuring that the customer receives the assistance they need and deserve.
