Wholegood sales take 14 percent dip at U.S. tractor dealers in March
Exclusive data for Outdoor Power Equipment magazine readers from Constellation Data Solutions, a division of Constellation Dealership Group, shows Same Store Sales results at U.S. tractor dealerships for the month of March. The composite data is pulled from dealerships that use Constellation’s Ideal and c-Systems DMS products. The Same Store Sales data compares March 2020 vs. March 2019 at 417 independent servicing tractor dealerships.
In the U.S., revenue at Constellation DMS dealerships saw an average overall decline in wholegood sales of 14 percent during March vs. March 2019.
Wholegood revenue declines on average by region are as follows:
West: Minus 6 percent
Midwest: Minus 28 percent
Northeast: Minus 21 percent
South: Minus 8 percent
USA: Minus 14 percent
Here’s a breakdown by number of dealerships that had increased wholegood sales vs. a decrease:
West: 88 percent down; 12 percent up
Midwest: 79 percent down; 21 percent up
Northeast: 73 percent down; 27 percent up
South: 79 percent down; 21 percent up
USA: 79 percent down; 21 percent up
