Toro’s all-new TITAN MAX ZTR is company’s most powerful ever; brings $5,999 starting MSRP

Toro has redefined its residential zero-turn mower lineup with the launch of the TITAN MAX. This massive machine is designed to tackle acres upon acres of lawn or tough, rugged terrain in virtually any mowing conditions.

The new Titan MAX zero-turn mower grabs work by the horns with the reliability, comfort and the power to mow vast expanses with ease. Designed with Toro’s professional-strength DNA at its core, this machine delivers it all — from precision grass cutting for manicured lawns to the brute strength required to tame pasture lands. This unit provides everything a homeowner who mows two or more acres needs to get the job done efficiently.

“In the last year, we’ve completely overhauled our residential zero-turn mower offering,” said Clint Briscoe, marketing manager at Toro, “But we weren’t stopping there. We’ve never done anything this big, and when you lay eyes on this beast, you’ll never want to ride another mower again.”

When it comes to performance, the TITAN MAX does not disappoint. With field-proven heavy-duty components like the ultra-strong, tubular steel frame found in Toro’s commercial Z Master Series, the TITAN MAX is rugged and reliable. This rock-solid foundation serves as the backbone for the TITAN MAX and provides an ideal chassis for bulling through anything in its path. Powered by a 26 hp KOHLER 7000 Series engine with a cannister air cleaner, this unit provides unrivaled American muscle. The gross horsepower of these engines was laboratory rated at 3,600 RPM by the engine manufacturer in accordance with SAE J1940 and SAE J1995. As configured to meet safety, emission and operating requirements, the actual engine horsepower on this mower may be significantly different.

The MAX is equipped with 3100 fully serviceable hydros, which produce ground speeds of up to 9 mph and puts operators down range in a hurry. It is also equipped with massive 23-inch drive tires that are designed to put the rider in an elevated seated position for enhanced visibility. The tire’s width and aggressive tread also maximizes traction.

Following the theme of ultimate durability, the IronForged cutting system boasts a bullnose leading reinforced edge made from grade-50 hardened steel. Kevlar reinforced belts and heavy-duty, eight-inch cast aluminum spindles ensure longevity and maximum performance of the cutting system. Another important feature on the IronForged deck is a heavy-duty rubber discharge chute that optimizes overall durability.

Designed with the operator in mind, and with over a century of innovation engineered into each component of the TITAN MAX, owners will benefit from user-friendly maintenance features such as toolless air filter replacements and a removable floor pan which provides quick access to the top side of the deck if maintenance or inspection is ever needed. Operators can also cut with precision with a drop-pin-height of cut system, while the seven-gallon fuel tank maximizes run time.

The MAX doesn’t disappoint when it comes to a warranty, either. Ride off with a 4-year, 500-hour Toro pledge of performance.
