Have you made your nomination for OPE Business’ upcoming 40 Under 40?
Last week, we launched our efforts to find the best young dealership leaders in the outdoor power equipment industry with our 40 Under 40 spotlight. We’ve already received nominations for the program, and if you haven’t made your nomination yet, it’s time to get that in!
Nominees must be under 40 years of age and can be from any independent OPE dealership. While nominators may be from any organization or company doing business within the OPE industry, we also welcome self-nominations. Just remember to get those nominations in before March 15, 2021.

With so many up-and-coming, brilliant leaders in the OPE industry, we want to highlight the hard work and achievements of the young innovators who will lead the industry into the future. Once nominations have been collected, the OPE Business editorial team will read each submission, choosing finalists based on their contributions and accomplishments in the industry.
“It’s exciting to see nominations already coming in,” commented OPE Business Managing Editor Joy Burgess. “To see what young leaders are doing in this industry inspires us, and it’s an honor to give these men and women and chance to be in the spotlight. While 2020 was a tough year for many independent dealerships, we’ve spoken to many in the industry who took on the challenges, stepped up, and found new ways to achieve success despite adversity. We look forward to reading through the stories of even more young innovators that are highly deserving of this recognition.”
Finalists will be a part of the 40 Under 40 spotlight published as the cover story in the May issue of OPE Business magazine, featuring each finalist with a photo and profile. We’ll also feature finalists in a webinar, giving the entire industry the chance to know them better.
Nominations for the 40 Under 40 spotlight must be submitted by March 15, 2021 to be considered.
