Equipment Dealers Association Elects New Board Members

The Equipment Dealers Association has announced the election of two new directors and the re-election of one current director to its board of directors. Each director will serve a three-year term that begins October 1, 2021.

The newly elected board members include:

  • Brad Hershey (Northeast) – Brad Hershey is one of four on Hoober, Inc.’s “third generation ownership and leadership team,” founded in 1941 by his grandfather. Hoober is a nine-store retail dealership representing Case IH, JCB, Kuhn, Great Plains and Kubota, along with specialty lines, located in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Hershey started with Hoober in 1985 as a salesman in Delaware and was assigned store manager of Hoober’s third acquired location in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania in 1996.
  • Les Olson (North Central) – In 2002, Les Olson and business partner Roger Gjelstad founded Plains Ag LLC and operated a single store, Frontier Equipment, in Williston, North Dakota. Under Olson’s leadership, Plains Ag has evolved into four regional territories and 16 dealerships: Border Plains Equipment in Williston and Stanley, North Dakota, and Glasgow, Montana; Northern Plains Equipment in the North Dakota communities of Minot, Garrison and Mandan; West Plains Inc., also in North Dakota, in Dickinson, Beach, Bowman and Hettinger; and Central Plains Equipment with stores in Burlington, Holyoke and Yuma, Colorado and Garden City, Sharon Springs and Goodland, Kansas.
  • Scott Eisenhauer (Western)Scott Eisenhauer is the general manager of P&K Equipment, Inc. and P&K Midwest, Inc. P&K Equipment operates 18 John Deere dealerships throughout Oklahoma and Arkansas. P&K Midwest consists of nine John Deere stores across east central Iowa. Eisenhauer began his career in the agricultural business industry, going to work for John Deere in various roles throughout his 7-1/2 years with the company. In 2006, he joined the P&K Equipment dealership organization as general manager. Throughout his tenure, P&K has expanded from four John Deere dealerships to 27 today.
