Stihl, The Grow Group Partner to Help Landscape Professionals Improve Businesses

In late February, Stihl joined The Grow Group and more than 700 landscape professionals in Nashville, Tennessee at The Grow! 2022 Annual Conference as the exclusive handheld outdoor power equipment sponsor. A consulting firm for landscape professionals, The Grow Group aims to help its members improve their businesses and increase their profitability.

The three-day event featured a variety of innovative sessions focused on solutions to the challenges faced by green business owners and their teams. Speakers and topics covered topics ranging from fleet and equipment to human resources.

Stihl hosted the opening reception and led a breakout educational session that provided information and technical data to help landscapers make better decisions when considering adding battery-powered equipment to their operations. Featured speakers included Stihl Inc. battery communications marketing manager Steve Wilcox, and American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA) president Dan Mabe, who presented the AGZA mission and opportunities for landscapers to stand out with the AGZA service pro certification. In addition, an onsite product demonstration held at the Milosi Landscape headquarters showcased the latest Stihl professional battery products and charging solutions and included an opportunity for attendees to demo the units.

“The goal of The Grow Group and conferences like this is to create a community of success-minded landscape professionals who can learn from each other to advance and better run our businesses,” says Marty Grunder, president and CEO of The Grow Group. “Working with companies like Stihl that back and believe in this process is key to cultivating this community. We are so excited to have Stihl be a part of it.”

“At the heart of the Stihl brand is our desire to help our customers with the products, programs and service they need to make their work easier, safer and more efficient,” says Roger Phelps, Stihl Inc.’s corporate communications manager. “We support Marty Grunder and The Grow Group because they provide innovative programming, peer-groups and real-world resources to help business owners and their teams succeed.”
