Graze Launches Autonomous Mower Pilot Program with City of Glendale, California

Graze, the California-based startup manufacturing electric, autonomous mowers, is partnering with the city of Glendale, California, in Los Angeles County to begin a pilot program focused on its mowers. As part of the partnership, a live demonstration was held in March with Glendale Mayor Paula Devine and city councilmembers in attendance.

Since last fall, Graze has had pilot programs with Vandenberg Space Force Base near Lompoc, California, and Sundale Country Club in Bakersfield, California. The company is currently negotiating with a number of public and private entities to expand to 4-5 pilot partners in the Los Angeles area by the end of 2022, it reports.

Graze is backed by lead investor Wavemaker Partners and Wavemaker Labs, which is also invested in self-driving farm robots, a robotic kitchen assistant (Miso), a robotic pizza kitchen (Piestro) and more.
