Bobcat Company has launched its new WB700 commercial walk-behind mower lineup. First displayed at last year’s GIE+Expo in Louisville, the WB700 is available in three width options – 36-, 48- and 52 in. – and is designed to be an ultra-maneuverable, powerful solution equipped to tackle tough turf jobs.
The WB700 features a commercial floating deck, allowing the operator to adjust the height without the need to unbolt any components and save significant time, as well as a tool-free oil drain and deck access, an external oil filter location, easy battery access and a five-gallon fuel tank.
Other features on the WB700 include:
- A 1.5 x 2.5.-in., 11-gauge structural tube frame and 7-gauge engine mounting plate and reinforced box section; the frame accepts a sulky to easily transform the WB700 into a stand-on mower for increased comfort.
- 20-in. drive tires that provide ample ground clearance to minimize ground disturbance and enable smooth, easy maneuverability on tough terrain.
- Hydraulic drive and innovative Hydro-Gear ZT-2800 hydrostatic transaxles, to deliver smoother, simpler operation with heavy-duty torque output and comfortable ground speeds up to 6.5 mph.
- Easy-to-use ergonomic controls, a bullhorn design and reliable TufDeck cutting system engineered to provide an outstanding quality of cut and increase efficiency with fewer passes.
“Owners will be able to shred grass and tough turf with ease thanks to the ultra-powerful Kawasaki FS series engine, operator-friendly controls and updated hydraulic transmissions,” says Ron Scheffler, senior product manager at Doosan Bobcat North America. “The durability and quality of Bobcat’s zero-turn lineup is infused throughout these new commercial walk-behind mowers, and contractors will be able to build a fully rounded-out fleet to tackle any turf job.”
