Scag Debuts New EVZ Electric Zero-Turn
Scag Power Equipment has introduced its EVZ electric-powered zero-turn riding mower, the first electric-powered unit in Scag’s lineup.
The EVZ is powered by a Vanguard 48V 5kWh Lithium-Ion commercial battery pack. A Smartec by Hydro-Gear ZT-2800e electric drive system delivers smooth drive power and is engineered for incredible maneuverability. The EVZ also features Smartec D2e cutter deck motors designed to provide strong cutting power while delivering maximum efficiency for extended run time.
Other features include:
- Scag’s Hero cutter deck, for quality-of-cut;
- Heavy-duty construction;
- Low-maintenance mower design, including fewer grease points;
- Standard LED lights;
- Full-featured display screen showing battery charge level, total hours of machine run time and system diagnostics; and
- Onboard Bluetooth capabilities, offering remote troubleshooting through the Smartec Connect and Smartec MyMow apps.
