Dealers provide feedback on Q3 Overall Business Conditions

Independent servicing OPE dealership owners and operators who took the Q3 2022 OPE Business Dealer Survey described favorable overall business conditions.

When asked to rate Overall Business Conditions, 49% of the respondents said they were “very strong” or “good.”

One-third of the respondents said conditions were “average,” while 17% said they were “poor” and only 1% said “very weak.”

Dealership owners and operators from 30 different states completed the survey. A total of 93% of the respondents are single-location owners, with 7% owning two or more locations. A total of 41% of them carry Stihl products and 39% of them carry Echo products.

When asked about dealer satisfaction, 13% of the respondents rated their current satisfaction with being a dealership owner as a “10” on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest.
