Stihl debuts 19 models as it enters zero-turn mower segment
Stihl debuted its zero-turn mower series, which consists of five different series for homeowners and professionals and includes 19 models, at Equip Expo in Louisville.
100 and 200 Series Zero-Turn Mowers
The STIHL 100 Series and STIHL 200 Series zero-turn mowers provide homeowners the power, performance and durability they expect from STIHL and come packed with a host of features to achieve a smooth, efficient cutting experience. Three homeowner models—the STIHL RZ 142, STIHL RZ 152 and STIHL RZ 261 — boast ReadyStart technology, allowing for quick start up with the turn of a key. Also, reliable V-Twin Briggs & Stratton engines (23-25 hp) are standard in the STIHL 100 and 200 Series, as are Hydro-Gear transaxles, enabling forward ground speeds ranging from 7 to 8.5 mph and 4 mph in reverse.
In addition, users of the STIHL RZ 152 and STIHL RZ 261 will enjoy the ability to take on a range of terrain thanks to four-wheel suspension with adjustable rear shock absorbers. The 200 Series, STIHL RZ 261—the largest of the consumer models—comes equipped with a commercial-grade 61” mowing deck, making it the ideal fit for a range of properties from residential lawns to a farm or ranch. All STIHL 100 and 200 Series units also come standard with two USB-A ports so users can charge devices.
