Kress has announced that it has received certification from the American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA) for its 60V battery-powered lawn and landscape equipment. Through AGZA’s independent testing process, Kress outdoor power equipment has earned the designation of “AGZA Field Tested Certified (AFTC),” the company reports.

“We understand the environmental and health responsibilities, as well as operational requirements, that come with designing and manufacturing innovative battery-powered lawn care equipment,” says Todd Zimmerman, vice president of product development at Positec, parent company of the Kress brand. “Earning AFTC certification through AGZA affirms that we are succeeding and encourages us to continue to strive for a better, greener future with healthier alternatives to gas-powered products.”

More than a dozen pieces of Kress 60V equipment have been AFTC Certified, including:

  • 21-in. self-propelled lawn mowers;
  • 750CFM and 850CFM handheld blowers;
  • 16-in. line trimmers;
  • 16-in. chain saws;
  • 25-in. hedge trimmer; and
  • Kress batteries and chargers.

Kress recently announced that its 40V and 60V lines of outdoor power equipment are now available at dealerships across the United States and Canada.
