Volteq Equipment debuts Sky 1000 battery-powered mini skid steer
Volteq Equipment has introduced the new Sky 1000, a stand-on mini skid steer powered by a lithium-ion battery (51.2 V/14.34 kW). Featuring a robust chassis design and three electric motors, the tracked Sky 1000 offers a lifting capacity of up to 1000 lbs.
Features on the Sky 1000 include:
- Built-in smart charger that can be easily connected to a standard 110V single-phase outlet;
- Quick recharge times of up to 5 hours;
- Wireless remote-control capability – operators can control the machine from a distance of up to 160 ft.;
- Equipped with telematics technology and GPS integration;
- Continuous travel speed, forward: 2.8 mph; and
- 15+ attachments.
Based in Miami, Florida, Volteq Equipment offers products designed for heavy-duty landscaping, construction projects, mining, interior demolition and farming. The company has been making the tradeshow rounds in 2023, having exhibited at the AED Summit, the ARA show, CONExpo and the National Farm Machinery Show, among others.
