We are getting some pre-Equip Expo product launch news. Here is just some of what manufacturers will debut at the annual event in Louisville, Kentucky.
Bobcat ZTR Mower
Bobcat is expanding its lineup of zero-turn mowers with the launch of the ZT5000. The manufacturer says it designed the new mower for both lawn care professionals and property owners who are looking to create their own professional-grade results.
The ZT5000 features a 23.5-hp Kawasaki engine that can run the mower at speeds up to 11 mph. The Hydro-Gear ZT-3800 hydrostatic transaxles is designed to deliver smooth and steady power for precise operator control and highly productive mowing performance. The machine’s AirFX cutting system, with its deep-deck design and air-gap baffles, increases vacuum, lifting grass to the blade for a superior cut and professional finish. The ZT5000 is available with two cutting deck sizes: a 52-inch or 61-inch deck.
“Everything about the Bobcat ZT5000 is designed to cover more turf area at productive speeds while leaving behind a high-quality cut,” Bobcat Senior Product Manager Ron Scheffler said. “Features throughout the ZT5000 support increased mowing productivity, including the dual fuel tanks, tool-free deck access for quick-and-easy cleaning, and the comfortable operator’s station with a high-back suspension seat and ergonomic controls.”
Kubota Front-Mount Mower
Kubota’s new F3710 replaces the F3990 in Kubota’s F Series of commercial front-mount mowers and is equipped with a 36.9-hp Kubota Common Rail System diesel engine. Available with both side-discharge and rear-discharge pro-commercial mower decks in 60 inches and 72 inches, the F3710’s high lifting capacity provides the versatility to handle an array of implements like a grass catcher, snow blower, rotary sweeper, and debris blower. An LCD digital panel comes standard on the F3710 and provides operators with information like Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) level, engine speed, remaining fuel, water temperature and hour meter. It features a high-back seat with four separate adjustments for weight control, lumbar support, back angle and arm rests helps keep operators comfortable and productive all day long.
Kubota Sidekick UTV
The RTV-XG850 Sidekick UTV is built around a 48-hp gasoline engine, with a top speed up to 40 mph, compared to the top speed of 29 mph for its RTV-X models. The Sidekick is the fastest, strongest, and most agile Kubota utility vehicle yet.
Yanmar will display a lineup of equipment including the SA223 with front loader and mower, the versatile YT359C with front loader and backhoe, and the YM342 with front loader. The booth will also highlight Yanmar’s newest machine, the SM240 tractor. Yanmar will offer demo outings on its SA325 tractor with front loader and backhoe and the Brahma diesel UTV.
Cat will show and demo its new compact track loaders, the 255 and 265 models. The new 255 and 265 loaders are powered by Cat C2.8T and Cat C2.8TA engines respectively, which offer 74.3 hp. A redesigned engine compartment mounts the engine and cooling package lower into the frame for improved stability, giving the operator confidence in handling heavy loads and throughout all aspects of the work cycles. Cat says that, compared to the 259D3, the new 255 loader delivers 36% more tilt breakout, 26% higher lift breakout force and a 24% increase in rated operating capacity (ROC). Height to the B-pin for the 265, compared to the 289D3, increases by 7.6 in (193 mm), resulting in a class-leading maximum lift height of 11 ft (3.35 m) for easier truck loading. The 265 also delivers 19% higher tilt breakout force and 22% higher lift breakout force.
Oregon Tool, Inc. is adding more than 700 SKUs to its portfolio of lawn and garden and forestry parts. The company says these additional SKUs will be available starting this year and into the first quarter of 2024, and will result in an 85% increase in Oregon Tool, Inc.’s belt assortment, with notable increases in blades, tires and tubes and other maintenance and repair parts.
