Buckeye Valley Equipment, Hebron, Ohio, has been named an Elite Cub Cadet dealer, reports the Perry County Tribune. On its website, the family-owned/operated dealership notes that it will be moving into a new, 35,000 square-foot facility in 2023: “We have yet again out-grown our current building … this new facility will allow us to provide a more spacious showroom area, expand mechanics workshop, obtain larger parts inventory, add a customer waiting lounge and much more.”
Maximum Outdoor Equipment & Service in Wichita, Kansas, has opened a second location, this in Andover, according to the Wichita Business Journal. A family-owned dealership initially established as Maximum Tractor in 1989 by Carl Witte and a partner, Maximum Outdoor offers Husqvarna, Wright and Walker mowers as well as equipment from Ferris, Grasshopper, Echo, RedMax and others.
Bobcat of Huntingdon (Pennsylvania), part of the Pristows Equipment Group, recently received the New Construction Award from the Huntingdon County Planning Commission for its remodeling of an existing structure and adding auxiliary space: “The project renovated a blighted property, replaced inadequate and non-functioning septic systems, installed curbing and upgraded the building to be fully ADA accessible,” according to The Daily News. Bobcat of Huntingdon is Pristows’ newest location and carries such lines as Bobcat, Stihl, Honda, Toro, Bad Boy Mowers, Simplicity, Snapper and more.
B&K Power Equipment in Marengo, Illinois, has shuttered, according to the Northwest Herald. Owner Barbara Christ decided to close the business after more than 50 years, reports the paper. Almburg Auctioneering is running an auction for the dealership’s equipment, which will take place April 14 and 15 at the B&K building in Marengo.
The California Energy Commission, according to a report in The Independent, has approved a $13 million grant for Monarch Tractor to build its manufacturing facility in Livermore, California, where the company’s headquarters are currently located. Maker of the MK-V “driver-optional” electric tractor, Monarch entered into an exclusive, multi-year licensing agreement for electrification technologies with CNH Industrial in 2021.
Speaking of CNH, volunteers representing CNH Industrial’s CASE Construction Equipment joined forces with non-profit housing charity Habitat for Humanity in Racine, Wisconsin, at the charity’s inaugural Women Build event. Twenty CASE female employees volunteered to help construct new, safe and affordable homes for single mothers in Racine. “It was especially powerful because we created a strong, sister-like bond while also helping other women,” says Jessica Klein, marketing & communications manager at CASE in Racine. “This was a great example of how we empower the women in our workforce to make a difference.
